What people say:

I’m incredibly grateful for the tools and skills I developed though my work with Carrie.  Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I had unknowingly developed my own coping strategies, but they weren’t exactly healthy for me or my family. I am not exaggerating when I say my life has changed for the better with the removal of some chaos and the addition of some control. I’m confident my high schooler will continue to benefit from this program as he works to incorporate it into his life and determine what works best for him.

As a parent, I loved how Carrie helped our middle schooler create the tools needed to get the most out of school and organize his work to thrive. I wish I could have learned these lessons earlier in my own life! Thank you!

Carrie helped me learn how to stay on task which helped me out immensely. She also helped me learn how to manage my time to get on task and stay on task.

Carrie's Executive Functioning Parenting Group has been a huge help for me and my family. I've gained valuable, actionable tools that help our kids and our household run more efficiently, effectively, and peacefully. And the camaraderie with the other parents in the group is a wonderful support. It's so helpful to know that the challenges our family faces are not unique to us. This is the village I've been looking for!

Carrie is organized, efficient, and on task at all times. She not only teaches these tools, but embodies them, in a caring and individually-tailored way. My daughter was encouraged and learned new strategies for time management, planning, and seeing the big picture. We would highly recommend Carrie to anyone looking for help!

-       Becky, parent of 9th grader

Carrie taught me to look ahead to what assignments will be due in the coming weeks, make a calendar and figure out how much time it will take me to be prepared.

-       Grace, 10th grader

Our daughter was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive type in 4th grade. She’s always struggled with focus, but as she’s gotten older, we’ve recognized she has many executive skill deficiencies. We were referred to Carrie, and our entire family worked with her. Carrie was wonderfully patient and was able to keep our daughter attentive, while also being kind and engaging. She introduced us to several tools we still use several months later. We all learned a lot about how the brain works, in both neurotypical and ADHD individuals. While our daughter still has some struggles, we’ve definitely seen improvement in her task management, organization and focus. In fact, she received straight A’s last term!

Before working with Carrie, I struggled with time management and other executive functions. I did not even know how to read an analog clock nor see the value in doing so. Digital is easy, I thought—but Carrie helped me see how analog clocks show more than the current time. They help me stay aware of the passing of my time and where I am within the hour, which is where I was struggling most. Thank you, Carrie, for helping me SEE my time and use it more purposefully.

- Brenden, adult client

In Carrie’s executive functioning parenting group, I not only learned several practical tools to help with my parenting stresses, but I felt very supported and understood in the community. Being with a group of people going through similar challenges, we understood how to help one another. Many of the tools Carrie taught me are very practical, implementable, and in bite-sized chunks that don’t feel overwhelming, which is so empowering when at times I already feel very overwhelmed. Thank you, Carrie.
